Foundation Pilates

If you are new to Pilates or someone that would like to work on improving your base skills, this class builds on the essential mat work exercises. You will guide you through the fundamental set up with slower transitions and details given to help you understand your body better and work on your technique.

Each Pilates exercise will develop strength for the next exercise bringing awareness and control as you learn the sequence.

There will be opportunity for modifications to suit a beginner level with some progressions when certain skills are met.

This is not a rehabilitation class so if you are recovering from an injury please let us know ahead of class so the correct advice can be given before you sign up.
